                STONE PICTURE, A NEW BLACK HORSE IN ARTS FIELD

Stone picture means picture on well-polished solid black or dark green natural
granite plate. The black-white or dark green white picture is made by combining
computer software controlled mechanic drill and hand polishing, vividly
reproducing any digital or scanned photo into a century-lasting picture. After
framing, it is a very standard, anti-weathering painting, for decoration or
commemoration purpose.

Usually we can choose granite as thin as 0.6-0.8 cm, of size less than 16x20” for
consideration of convenient sea transportation. Sizes of 6*8”, 8*10”, 10*12”, 12*16”
and 16*20” are popular choices, although, if allowed sea transportation, larger size
as much as 30x40” or 36x48” is feasible.

After framing and packing with styrofoam, then with outside paper carton
reinforcement, by choosing standard couriers such as FedEx or DHL, safe air
transportation will be guaranteed. If by sea, outside timber reinforcement will be
necessary to protect stone from damage due to external pressure or shocking.
